Me and the Web
I’m a dabbler at the moment. I spent the past few years traveling around Asia seeing firsthand all of the places and people I fantasized about when I was a child. Now I’m an archaeologist, working out of New Orleans. Wherever I am, I’m learning about history, taking a lot of pictures, fumbling at foreign languages, and trying to set my direction for the future.
I have always been interested in visual culture, the cultures, religions, and history of East and Central Asia, urban studies, language learning, self-education, personal development, and productivity.
You’ll find here some posts about my life, my best photos, the wins and fails of my latest learning endeavor or personal experiment, and a few updates about my life. I hope you find a website, photo, or idea that you enjoy on this blog.
