A Little Patch of Blue
I set out to a work site near Citronelle, Alabama on a chilly but sunny morning. Perfect digging weather. The landowner left the gate open for me, so no shimmying under barbed wire that day. I appreciate that, don’t like attracting that kind of attention. Although, I’m amazed at the number of times people have watched me climb fences and just went on with their business.
The smoke from a controlled fire nearby billowed through the pines for a while and then the blanket of grey you see in the photo rolled in. It didn’t take long for that patch of blue to shrink, shrink, shrink, and then disappear.
